Moroccan cuisine is one of the world’s greatest. Once you have had the opportunity to sample some of the dishes that have originated here, you will never forget them. We love our gustatory heritage, and proudly employ Moroccan cooks who have spent their lifetimes creating delicious meals for their families. If you are in Marrakech for more than a couple of days however, you will discover that many of the cafes and restaurants that cater to our out-of-country guests all serve the same dishes. In most of these places, the acknowledgement and comprehension of dietary preferences is sorely lacking. Guests who need options that work with a vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free lifestyle often find it difficult to find a variety of choices.
We are committed to offering an inclusive menu for our guests. In addition to our Moroccan selections, vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes, we have a bit of fun with fusion dishes. For instance, our burritos and enchiladas are served up on a popular Moroccan bread that adds a surprising twist to a tortilla, and our chicken and couscous with peanut sauce borrows from an age-old Moroccan favorite to distinguish it from its Asian counterpart.
In short, we serve good food at honest prices, and we think you will agree. Our selection of soups and salads start at just 25 dirhams, with our main dishes starting at 40 dirhams. We have a nice selection of drinks in the 15-25 dirham range and desserts that range from 20-30 dirhams.

We use only Moroccan henna, and it is mixed fresh every day. Our henna paste never contains any chemical additives; it is 100% natural, containing only the dried and powdered leaves of the henna plant, lemon juice and sugar.
We are the only provider of henna in all of Morocco that is certified by the International Certification For Natural Henna Arts.

Our henna prices at the cafe start at a very affordable 50 Moroccan dirhams (approximately 5 dollars or euros) for a design that adorns the back of the hand, from your knuckles to your wrist. The prices go up from there according to size and complexity of the design. Our prices are fair and well within, if not lower than, the average prices for quality henna created by professional naqashas (henna artists). We only choose the best naqashas, and we think you will agree that in light of their many years of practice and dedication to their craft, henna is a very affordable way to experience a significant aspect of Moroccan culture and tradition.
Our lower-priced hennas (50-200 Moroccan dirhams) are very popular with people who want a unique Moroccan experience with only a minimal investment in time and money. They are also popular with young children, due to the quick completion of the design. Your children are welcome to choose a traditional Moroccan design, or they may choose from our special child’s catalog pages of animal designs. All of these minimally priced designs take between 5-20 minutes, with an additional 20 minute in-house drying time.
